A little gem tucked in the southwest of the island, whose barefoot luxury getaway vibes have been capturing the imagination of Hollywood producers and romantic ambiance seekers, it was the perfect backdrop to this al fresco September destination wedding.
No surprise Zoe, as head of CRM at Matches Fashion had every detail planned to create a multidimensional experience for the couple’s beloved guests, capturing in this signature fine art incredibly chic fete all the essence of style and delight.
The couple dreamt of a wedding celebration full of meaning with their closest family & friends and our goal as their wedding planner was to keep everything natural and organic, and blending in with the surroundings. We were able to do that by carrying the tan and cream tones of the sand and rocks, and the light blue of the water, throughout the tabletop, candles, flowers, and ceiling installations.
We intended everything to be simple and attainable, nothing over-the-top or over-styled, and working with, not against, what was already there. We kept the dinner celebration breathing with lush greenery runners instead of fabric drapery (which a huge trend for 2018 weddings) and to bring in that natural element we incorporated tons of lanterns and dangling raffia pouches filled with indigenous herbs, that gave a fragrant note as the mild breeze blew.
We loved seeing the beautiful couple glow with happiness and as the sundown caressed the beach their reception evolved into an all-night party where dancing, hugs, and laughs streamed till morning.
