Limni Vouliagmeni (which translates as Sunken Lake) lies pretty on the basin of Athens Riviera, a hidden rocky gem on the Athenian Coast sure to make for a super special venue for an Athens wedding. Deep orange stone formations engulf what is a mineral spa reported to have many healing properties with mysterious underwated passages and a mesmerizing ambiance about it, just what our beautiful couple Dina & Ali sought after for their Athenian I do’s.
With their friends and family arriving from Jordan, Dina , and Ali our bride and groom had prepared a unique feast, beginning with the most special culinary journey into stunningly beautiful patisserie from Pavlov’s Lab – you really can’t have enough ornate desserts on your dessert station when this master patissier waves his magic wand- turning their wedding venue into an ifinite garden of blue and white florals – think garlands for years, endless focal and peripheral flower arrangements, and a super stylish photobooth overflowing with fleurettes, and having everyone dance till the wee hours swayed by party vibes and dancing lights!
We festooned every possible surface with elegant notes to evoke the bride and groom’s personal style – tons of blue and white Hydrangeas for gratitude and heartfelt honest emotions, blue chinoiserie, and butter soft light blue drapes and the most beautiful hanging macrame floral garlands ever trimmed with greenery, ivy, and white peonies and delphiniums that were incorporated to the couple’s massive candy bar next to lilacs and blue globe thistle.
For the bridal bouquet we created a crisp large peony arrangement with tiny lilalcs and soon after her bouquet throw the entire scene was transformed with a sea of fairy lights and gorgeous lighting under the marquee a nod to a fairytale carousel dancing in the dark! We wholeheartedly thank the wonderful teams who made this wedding an absolute gem.
