Be it crashing waves on the beach, studded hill vistas, cosmopolite perches, or all of the above, the link between outdoor weddings and perfect views is undeniable. Romance and dreamy seascapes are quite the pair, and this Nigerian Athens luxury wedding at Grand Resort Lagonissi is sea-views for days, to say the least! Not only did Chacha & Femi exchange their vows on a helipad overlooking the Saronic Gulf but they treated their guests to a star-studded evening at the iconic Veghera. Protruding from the sparkling waters like the keel of a massive sea-vessel the couple’s reception venue feels exactly like one. Think glistening gunwales, and cherry-wood decks, sparkling masts and forestays creating a canopy of constellations overhead, shinny portholes and beams of light dancing in the midnight air. Nautical influences aside the glamorous affair came with a sea (pun non-intended) of romantic blooms in pink, peach, and butterscotch to match the bridesmaids’ gowns and the crepuscular hues of the Athenian Riviera sundown. But that was not all. Femi surprised his wife with a unique performance of black and white swans who danced to a contemporary rendition of Swan Lake and left everyone in awe.
