The dazzle of the cosmopolis that Athens is makes for the perfect wedding destination for the brides and grooms who love a good buzz but still enjoy a little blissful privacy on their big day. That is the reason why we were so thrilled to plan and design for these two amazing Big-Apple born Greeks who didn’t mind our bringing a little New York – New York to their Island Athens Riviera wedding this summer!
Crafting Evonna and Theo’s wedding we knew their guests were all their closest friends and family, and we wished that they all left knowing the couple even better than they did before. Having a long list of their favorite Greek artists and celebrities on stage for their celebration was definitely a must. Channeling New York’s glamour into the ceremony and reception’s little patch of heaven we brought in elegant centerpieces made of cascading arrangements, english roses, hydrangeas, peonies, herbs and seasonal foliage sitting atop mirror antique tables and amidst a sea of candles. The adjoining terrace of the reception provided guests with a place to lounge and enjoy the immaculate vistas Island Athens Riviera boasts, during cocktail hour, while crystal chandeliers illuminated the scene over the reception area and the couples four dessert stations right before their big entrance.
One would probably need quite a lot of energy to keep up with the endless dancing that ensued, but we’re pretty certain you will get in the mood by viewing the gallery ever so beautifully captured by the couple’s amazing photographer Adam Alex. Enjoy!
