Doesn’t every nostalgic bride dream of a pink wedding? No other color is as romantic, as feminine or as sugary sweet. These cerise and white Scottish “I do’s” on Island Athens Riviera were every inch of pretty as they were fun, and would have Ms. Maggie Prescott from “Funny Face” exclaim: Let’s give ’em the old pizazz!”
Upon meeting with Nakita and Michael we knew that we wanted to design a wedding that was reflective of their sweet and youthful energy. We decided on a summer wedding at the Athenian Riviera for the perfect nuptial backdrop. Taking cues from the bride’s style and vision we opted to include an abundance of peonies, hydrangeas and garden roses throughout the wedding to bring a pop to the various event levels and add to the elegant color palette.
As the couple’s ceremony took place al fresco the dinner reception was held indoors in white trestle dining tables and Chiavari chairs styled with long flower garlands clear and gold accents. Guests danced the night away on the seamless wooden parquet floors while the festivities continued until the wee hours of the night in the garden, and if you haven’t witnessed Scotts partying, we promise you have not been to the right weddings!
